Wow, my friends, what a week. Let's take care of some business first, after all that is why we are here isn't it? We have our very popular Fall Classic, now stretched over two days, is scheduled for Saturday October 18th, and Sunday October 19th. We have 3 shotgun starts over the two days, with a morning and an afternoon event scheduled for Sunday. We give away THOUSANDS in prizes including a membership for the 2009 season, and we have some times left for all three shotguns, but don't delay, it will sell out. Ryan Armour, my friends, is in desparation mode, with only 5 tourney's left, he needs a top 5 finish to help him gain some ground to get into the 125 best money earners. He has some stiff competition, with, my friends, Rich Beem, Tom Lehman, Jason Gore,  and Davis Love all on the bubble and playing this week.  PGA is in San Antonio, Texas for the Valero Texas Open.

Cavs preseason got underway, and not in a good way either my friends, getting bombed by Toronto 104-84, and I would venture to say it is a little too early to be concerned, so we won't go there. Lebron and Company will be in Boston tomorrow night to take on the Celts. They just released center Lance Allred, who was the first legally deaf player to play in the NBA, which was disappointing, you have to believe that would have been a positive on the road, right my friends?

Philly taking on the Dodgers tonight in the National League Championship series, and this should be good, with announcer Tim McCarver calling Manny's lack of committment to Boston, "despicable". I would imagine some pretty good story lines (not to mention heated moments) if the Dodgers and Red Sox get together in the World Series, that really would be a fun one wouldn't it my friends?

Freddie thinks Charley may spoil that potential matchup, as he has no less than several opinions on tonights sports schedule. You have my blessing to skip over that part of the site.

Indian summer is here my friends, a great forecast, so get out, and not just anywhere, get to the Chipp, we have our Fall Rates in effect, and you need a little break from all the stress in the world, so forget the food, forget the gas, forget the mortgage, forget the fact your retirement fund is down 50%, you have to blow it off. The government will bail us out, so get out and celebrate, we'll even book you a spa treatment at Mario's, and dinner at Ken Stewarts, all part of your service. Billed back to your company of course.
