Monday Night Scratch League Week No. 1    RESULTS

On a "rare" beautiful night in May in Northeast Ohio, we got off to a rousing start, with Al Freeman and Ryan Stefanski getting off to the hot start and winning the opening night event with a very fine 4 under par in the Scramble event that was played over the back 9 at The Chipp. Superintendent Brad Stewart took some heat for some uncharacteristically tough pin placements on opening night, but I thought they were fine, and thats really all that matters. Only one skin out on the night, and that was a birdie 3 on the No.1 handicap hole by David Chapple and John Johnston, and that was a biggie, as it paid a whopping $540 for the two man team. Congrats to all the winners, and good luck next week.
