The always popular Turkeyfoot 2 man BestBall event was played on Saturday, May 1st, Derby Day. Charlie Mozingo as usual had the golf course in excellent condition, with the winners shooting great rounds of 66. That was accomplished by the duo of Lambos/Peterson, and Slavinski/Minear. They will split first place honors, and take home 125 points each in the race for golfer of the year, along with $500 per team in gift certificates. Two teams shot 67, Spino/Oates and Cutlip/Skorman, taking 2nd place and 85 points, along with $350 team, 4 Teams shot 68, Davis/Marr, R.Kline/C.Kline, Kossack/Putinski, and Hedrick/Tartar. They will take home 55 points each, and $200 per team. There were 5 teams shooting 69, earning $100 per team and 25 points, and they were Grosso/Skripac, Skidmore/Hipsher, Hollister/Hollister, Merrow/Carey, Bryson/Herchek. Big skins were on Holes no. 5, 15, and 16, with little skins on holes no. 2,5, and 8.
